POWER BERRY Smoothie Recipe!
Beat the summer heat with this smoothie recipe from the newest member of our team, our cosmetic nurse, Tim.
A healthy body is the foundation for healthy skin. This refreshing blend of blueberries, strawberries, bananas, mangoes and kale is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Toss in some chia seeds for easy omega 3! This concoction is sure to become one of your favorites!
- 1 cup plain yogurt (or more if you'd like!)
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 banana
- 1 heaping tbsp of peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Drizzle of honey to taste
- 2-3 cups of water
- Optional - Kale, protein powder
DIRECTIONS: Add all ingredients to a blender. If using protein powder, blend all other ingredients first then add protein powder at the end and blend for 20 seconds. Blend and enjoy!
