The Illuminator Toronto
Restore the health of your skin
Over time, your skin loses its youthful glow as a result of sun exposure and the aging process. Age spots and broken blood vessels appear. Collagen production decreases, resulting in fine lines and prominent pores. It's time to restore the health of your skin.

What is The Illuminator?
A synergistic combination of BroadBand Light (BBL) and Gentle Fractional Laser, The Illuminator was designed by our board-certified dermatologists to target the signs of sun damage and aging to result in a refreshed, illuminated complexion with minimal recovery time. Your complexion will be noticeably brighter and more even in tone.
What is BBL?
BBL (Broad Band Light) is an innovative technology that uses multiple wavelengths of light energy. This energy is preferentially absorbed by the brown pigment that is in your skin, as well as the hemoglobin in your blood vessels. BBL is designed to treat age spots, redness, and broken blood vessels.
What is Gentle Fractional Laser?
Gentle Fractional Laser is a resurfacing laser that creates millions of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin. This stimulates the healing process, resulting in the clearance of pigment and increased collagen production. Designed to improve fine lines and minimize the appearance of pores, Gentle Fractional Laser treats and prevents the early signs of aging.
Together, these technologies target sun spots and pigmentation, broken blood vessels, prominent pores and fine lines to produce an illuminated complexion.
Our Comprehensive Approach
You'll meet with one of our board-certified dermatologists for an evaluation of your concerns to determine a treatment plan that can effectively achieve your aesthetic goals.
The Illuminator is a relatively comfortable procedure. A topical anesthetic is typically applied before the treatment begins to improve your comfort. You may feel a prickly, warm sensation during the treatment, however it is generally well tolerated.
After your treatment, your skin will be slightly red and feel warm. A soothing biocellulose mask is immediately applied to calm and cool your skin.
Several days after your treatment, sunspots will begin to fade away, and in a week or two, you'll notice your complexion is brighter and more even toned.
